Blog #3: The Modeling Continues!

One more unto the Maya Frame, my friend! We’re back on the front lines of the modeling battlefront. The fight against Maya continues but progress has been made! With Theo’s Car finally finished, the group begins to work toward its first layout. It’s been a wild ride fighting against Maya, and all of its little quirks, but I was finally able to get the car done enough that we can have something in the layout coming soon. Although, it does feel weird that we are already trying to do layouts when we only have maybe a fourth of our asset list done. But hey, it’s not my call, so I just follow orders. I’d rather be working on Madam Gator, but the next assignment for me is to head down to New Orleans, albeit to virtually recreate a rough amalgamation of assets that’ll turn into Bourbon Street. But something I’ll have to bring up in the next meeting is we don’t have enough assets for a good layout, we don’t even have the character roughly made. I guess I can set up cameras and such, but I am quite unsure as to what they want by next Friday. Time to ask some questions, I guess. As they say, communication makes the conglomeration functional. This is a rather short one, due to the fact I have been working on this car for a little bit now. But below I will have a picture of the “finished” asset.

But that’s all for now. Until next time!
